In Act II, the player meets a group of gargoyle-like creatures who reveal that Lienna and her "red twin" ordered them to kidnap the player from the Sword Coast. The story is not the best (not bad, just kind of generic), but it has entertaining characters, great combat, and some cool story moments, in addition to being better at easing you into the game much better than MotB.
