There are a number of Superman references, and the Lois-Lane style heroine is a little too similar to the heroine in "Monsters vs Aliens" and "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs", but this is a small gripe. This was a bit of a lucky find as I'd heard about it and not actually seen it, but I'm glad a friend told me about it as it was liked and watched by my daughter and I and we really liked it :) Even better since this one has blu ray versions and a DVD as well.. A CGI animated movie that puts it's own unique spin on Superhero stories. Metro Man is introduced using his incredible powers for theatrics to impress a crowd of people, doing various things that could potentially hurt people and walks on water, establishing him as a narcissist who sees the people that he protects like the audience to a rock concert.

I am not a lover of kids films and usualy have to be forced to endure them but within minutes of sitting to watch this little gem i was laughing out loud and giggling away with the kids as was my husband, our ten year old and 14 year old.
