Not only is it a beautiful place but they have a lot to offer. We stayed in Cambria one night in the summer of 2016, wish we had planned a few more. It is lovely trail in a charming town - I recommend it! There are many staircases down to the beach and platforms from which to enjoy the beach views. Put simply, Cumbria is a mecca for hikers. 30 of the 70 miles. Hiking Time: 1 Hour. Dogs are welcome on the boardwalk, but have recently been banned from the beach. Excellent time to do some road biking in the Cambria area with a pandemic there’s little to no traffic on the roads the weather’s been really nice I highly recommend coming up and give it a tryReally fun to make a loop out of this hike, taking the boardwalk in one direction and the beach back in the other.

Beautiful scenery.Very nice trail. It ends in a park and small beach. Fog in morning and sun in afternoon.
This park is nestled atop the “One of the nicest and most beautiful parks in Pennsylvania. Note that dogs are only permitted on the boardwalk, not on any parts of the beach.Easy boardwalk trail with breathtaking views of the ocean on one side and adorable hotel zone on the other. You won't get any solitude on this beach or it's trails. Super cool windblown trees, so many wildflowers, wildlife (seals, ground squirrels), and the beach is stunning - covered in gorgeous colorful pebbles.

About a mile in take the stairs down to the tide pools and rock formations.

This is more of a boardwalk than a trail, but that being said, it is one of my favorite places to stop on my way up or down the California coast.

It’s a great place to stop and stretch your legs on a long drive.

)I loved the boardwalk under my weary legs. There are many access points to beaches and several viewpoints. I had not previously heard of this town, we were on the way to big sur. Many businesses are changing how they operate. Hiking Project is built by hikers like you. Elevation Gain/Loss: 200 ft +/-Location: Cambria. I hiked the beachside boardwalk for hours.

However, the views are stunning, par for the course for the central California coast. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. We did the entire 60+ mile round trip between Black Lick and Ebensburg on the Ghost Town Trail! If you love the great outdoors, then your next trip should include plans to traverse the open spaces of Cambria by trail! The trail is great for day “Prince Gallitzin State Park contains Glendale Lake which for most locals, is their "beach" in the summer. So if you plan to climb the stairs to the water, plan to leave your four-legged friends behind. Really a treat if you’ve never stopped here before. You can also just pull over along Moonstone Beach Drive and access the trail from multiple points. “ a very large park but it's vast enough to feel like you're away from any city. Down by the shore there’s lots of wood piled up in a tasteful manner. We are likely never to come back here again. It was a great first trail to restart my fitness with.
