Screenplay of the movie has been framed really well, as and when the movie passes by it increases interest in the audience how the movie proceeds from there on.

I like the portrayal of all characters in this film besides the minute flaw of not incorporating the Rajesthani language properly . This story revolves around the pain and agony a young widow whose husband is accidentally (Not quite sure) killed by his roommate who happens to be husband of the liberated woman Gul. A burglar reflects on his life and loves; while the media speculates how he managed to pull off so many heists.

Watch this movie for its simplicity and sincerity. I found them much more real and much more full of emotion and love than the typical teasing but don't touch kissing of lighter Bollywood fare, or the humping, spit swapping of Western films.

Film shows some remarkable performances by the lead actors. A woman falls for a charming and mysterious businessman. I am surprised by his diversity of movies he has done.I have come here to write a good note on movie before it might die down once i get back to my normal life.

I especially liked Zeenat's (Gul Panag) courage, quiet dignity and fortitude in the face of an overwhelming and frightening situation for a young bride. The dialog's are crisp and full of life and that make the characters come to life and make such an impact on the viewer. A 9/10 from my side.

Was this review helpful? The story is about two women who come from different backgrounds and how fate brings them together. Meera is shocked beyond belief to hear Zeenat's words. At the same time, Zeenat gets a call that Aamir has been accused of murdering his roommate in UAE. But Zeenat is unable to tell Meera the real reason why she's there. The story is good and the dialogues are simple and blend completely with the plot and background of the movie. Dor is a well crafted post card movie. Set in the backdrop of himachal and Rajasthanm, the beauty of nature is captured very well. Dor (2006) cast and crew credits, including actors, actresses, directors, writers and more. Satyaveer accepts money from Manorama, wife of an irrigation minister, to collect evidence against her husband for having an extra-marital affair. Then when no word is received from him, a worried Meera phones, and is devastated to learn that Shankar has been killed by being thrown off a 10th floor balcony. Nagesh Kukunoor's Dor is perhaps the best film of 2006. Miss the quality of Nagesh in movie making They are very different but they share the same experience. One of the rare movies that cannot be seen these days in the Indian Movie Industry. Mr. Talpade is also excellent as the comic foil and does a admirable job of plaing the jester.
